Margot Myers
Accepting New Clients
LMSW

Margot brings a warm, curious, and compassionate presence to her work with clients. She believes that meaningful therapeutic relationships can create space for people to better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward the lives they want to build. Margot earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and has experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and individuals navigating adversity, transitions, and complex life experiences.
With a background in child welfare, community-based mental health, nature-based therapy, and group settings, Margot has developed a particular passion for helping young people build resilience, strengthen their sense of self, and navigate challenges. She is especially drawn to approaches that recognize the whole person and the ways relationships, environment, identity, and lived experiences shape mental health.
Growing up in Montana, Margot built a deep appreciation for the therapeutic potential of nature and experiential learning. Outside of therapy, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, seeing live music, and spending time with family. She hopes to bring that same sense of curiosity, safety, and possibility into her work with clients.
CLINICAL APPROACH
Margot takes a collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She believes clients are the experts in their own lives and that therapy works best as a partnership built on trust, respect, and genuine connection. She works to understand each client within the context of their relationships, environment, and lived experiences while helping them build self-awareness, coping skills, self-compassion, and resilience.
Margot incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, experiential activities, and nature-informed practices based on each client’s unique needs and goals. She believes healing can happen not only through conversation, but also through movement, creativity, connection, and experiences that help clients feel more grounded and present. Above all, she strives to create a warm, authentic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in growth and meaningful change.
