For over 25 years, Gina has worked as an advisor, counselor and teacher in a variety of educational settings with children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to her M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University, she has a M.A.degree in Applied Healing Arts from Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) which adds a unique perspective to her clinical approach. In her personal and professional experience, she has developed a deep reverence for the internal wisdom that we each possess. Her desire is to support you in accessing that inner knowing while also sharing powerful and practical tools for transformation. She enjoys working with a variety of clients and brings an awareness of cultural sensitivity to her practice.
Creating a safe, honest, and relaxed space in which my clients feel comfortable and heard is at the heart of my counseling style. I like to work in a holistic way, drawing upon a variety of theories and counseling practices to provide you with treatment that meets your needs. Specifically, I enjoy working within the cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, solution-focused, mindfulness, somatic/body movement, breathwork, and nature-based therapies.
