About the Event

The crisp fall air often brings a much needed relief from the heat of summer. For many, however, late fall and early winter are marked by less welcome changes-- cold weather, shorter days, and longer nights. In this year of social distancing, where individuals have relied heavily on the outdoors as a place to gather and connect, the change in season may be felt even more acutely. This talk will focus on understanding the basics of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and offer practices to help cultivate a sense of connection and wellbeing in the midst of darker days. Whether you know you have struggled with SAD in the past or are simply looking for some extra tools to face the Winter of 2020, consider signing up!
