Incorporating structure and positive habits into our daily lives are helpful tools for coping with the stress and uncertainty of Covid 19. This interactive presentation will offer a deeper understanding of the challenges of motivation and behavior change as well as offer strategies for reducing negative habits and increasing positive ones. Based on tips from author James Clear’s book Atomic Habits, participants will walk away with concrete tools that they can implement immediately to shift the way they operate day to day. As we all have to navigate these unprecedented and uncertain times, research tells us that routine and a sense of accomplishment is particularly important to promoting balance and mental health in our lives. Join us and gain a deeper understanding of how to spot and change bad habits while incorporating positive habits to give a sense of forward movement when the future can feel so uncertain.
