The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent school closures has drastically shifted our educational landscape. Now more than ever, parents are relying upon the support of trusted advocates to foster and engage their children with at-home learning. This webinar is designed to engage participants in active learning that includes the importance of routines and schedules, stress management, and best practices to help parents with virtual learning. We hope this session will leave you inspired, informed, and armed with actionable tips and tools to support parents with at-home learning during these uncertain times.
For over fifteen years, Cornelia Calliste has experience working in the charitable and public sectors. Cornelia has developed and implemented innovative programming consistent with best practices in socio-emotional learning for out-of-school time programs for youth. With a combined interest in education and social change, Cornelia has traveled the country inspiring leaders to aid in the mission towards closing the achievement gap. She earned her M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Walden University and a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Towson University.
