Join us for an open dialogue in understanding body image and Body Dysmorphia: how to help, dispelling myths, and ways to work through and address these concerns. Those in attendance will gain a better understanding of the influence that body image has on the development and presentation of Body Dysmorphic Disorder, how to speak with those who might be struggling, and how to be an advocate for seeking help!
Jaime Kaplan, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who works at the Renfrew Center of Baltimore and her private practice in Towson, MD. She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology at Towson University. Dr. Kaplan has been working in the field of eating disorders for over 10 years and is passionate about working with this population, as well as concerns related to body image, self-esteem, and women’s mental health.
