About the Event

In this 90-minute workshop, designed for therapists who primarily work with individual clients, Noelle Benach, LCPC, will provide a basic overview of different popular couples work modalities, including the Gottman method, The Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), and Prepare/Enrich.  

Attendees will gain knowledge of couples work skills and insight on how and when to collaborate with and give referrals to couples therapists for the sake of their individual clients who are facing relational concerns.  

Additionally, attendees will learn of training opportunities and associated investments in different couples modalities if they are hoping to deepen their competencies in working with couples.

Noelle Benach, LCPC and Director of Operations at Space Between Counseling Services, is an individual and relationship therapist who has a passion for working with Baltimore folks seeking to explore, understand and heal symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression & trauma.  Noelle serves as both a psychotherapist and as the Director of Operations at Space Between Counseling Services, located in Baltimore, Maryland.  

Noelle is particularly passionate about working with modern couples/co-habitators, queer fox, adult students, creatives, parents, and professional caretakers like teachers, medical professionals, social workers and fellow therapists. Noelle works with couples and individuals in relationships who identify as polyamorous or consensually non-monogamous. 

Noelle is a level two  PACT clinician as well as a Prepare-Enrich certified provider.  Additionally, Noelle has completed levels one & two training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Noelle is also a Phase One Brainspotting Practitioner. Noelle is currently enrolled in the University of Michigan’s Sex Therapy & Sex Educator Certificate Program - and is set to complete the program in late March, 2022.
