Eliane Coates
LCPC
Eliane earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. She has several years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families. Prior to pursuing her counseling degree, Eliane worked in outdoor education and fully believes in the healing powers that come from being in nature.
CLINICAL APPROACH
Working from a person-centered perspective, Eliane works to best fit the needs of her individual clients. Eliane has a background in working with anxiety, depression, school issues, career counseling, and grief counseling. She integrates an Internal Family Systems perspective into her approach. Eliane has previous experience working in college counseling, the private practice setting a range of experience in the outdoor education and leadership field.
