About the Event

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent school closures drastically shifted our educational landscape. Now more than ever, parents rely upon the support of trusted advocates to help navigate the realities of our new landscape. This webinar is designed to equip therapists with tools to better support clients with school-aged children in the pandemic. We hope this session will leave you inspired, informed, and armed with actionable tips and techniques for supporting parents through at-home learning during these uncertain times.

Presented by Cornelia Calliste, Educational Leadership Specialist. For over fifteen years, Cornelia Calliste has experience working in the charitable and public sectors. Cornelia has developed and implemented innovative programming consistent with best practices in socio-emotional learning for out-of-school time programs for youth. With a combined interest in education and social change, Cornelia has traveled the country inspiring leaders to aid in the mission towards closing the achievement gap. She earned her M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Walden University and a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Towson University.
