Shannon Graham
M.S., LCPC
Shannon believes in the healing power of connection and conversation. Her goal is to help you feel heard, and to better connect with your thoughts, feelings, and the world around you. Shannon earned a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from George Mason University and a Post Masters Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Grand Canyon University. Fun fact: Shannon's undergraduate studies and first career were in engineering! She enjoys her work now as a counselor and is living a purpose-driven life. Shannon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
CLINICAL APPROACH
Shannon enjoys working from a strengths-based and goal-focused perspective. Shannon’s communication style is down-to-earth and empathic, asking thoughtful questions that encourage meaningful self-reflection. She incorporates cultural sensitivity and an awareness of how systemic and societal factors can contribute to one's experience in the world.
Shannon does her best work working with clients who are navigating life transitions (e.g., relationships, marriages, friendships, purpose seeking, career changes, breakups, moves), and clients who are “stuck” in their ability to balance mental wellness with life’s demands. She works with adult individuals, couples, millennials, and adolescents.
