Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Registered Yoga Teacher and a Certified Yoga Nidra Facilitator trained in the Integrative Amrit Method. I earned a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of California Berkeley School of Social Welfare, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Haverford College and studied Philosophy of Healing in Action at The Maryland University of Integrative Health. My psychotherapy practice incorporates insights and techniques drawn from contemplative traditions in addition to more traditional therapeutic interventions.
CLINICAL APPROACH
As a psychotherapist and yoga teacher, I approach mental health from a non-judgmental, holistic perspective that honors each client’s unique experience and needs; informed by both modern neurobiology and psychology as well as ancient practices. My therapeutic work facilitates personal growth by increasing self-awareness, promoting self-acceptance and empowering clients to build on their natural strengths. I offer wisdom and compassion to help my clients integrate physical, mental and spiritual aspects of their lives to improve their overall well-being.
