A graduate of the Master of Science in Clinical Social Work program at Columbia University and believes that healthy relationships with ourselves and others are one of the keys to emotional well-being.
As a result of my experience and training, I have come to believe that making connections with others in order to form meaningful, healthy relationships is one of the most enduring and basic needs we have as human beings. I strive to help my clients improve how they feel about themselves through evidence-based interventions that assist them in becoming more able to connect with others. By developing a better understanding of themselves and their environment, I aim to help my clients become their best possible selves.
In order to help my clients learn to care for themselves and connect to others, I use a combination of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, psychoanalysis, and dialectic behavioral therapy in an environment of compassion, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard.
