Graduated from Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola, Emily specializes in integrating yoga and mindfulness techniques in working with clients who experience trauma, including sexual assault and domestic violence.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches I’m trained in to help guide clients in achieving their goals for therapy. My approach emphasizes the whole person, not just thoughts, and behaviors, but truly the mind, body, and spirit in counseling. I incorporate Psychodynamic interventions, Mindful Cognitive Behavioral tools, and Motivational Interviewing, Coaching and Somatic Interventions. Additionally, I can provide Mindfulness Coaching, spiritually integrated counseling for clients who seek to discuss their spirituality or faith as part of the counseling process, Hypnosis and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
