Learn the life changing skill of mindfulness with Phillip McKnight, a trained Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. Join the ranks of Thich Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama as you explore this ancient art and way of life. Phillip has experience teaching a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and abilities and uses his MA in Instructional Systems Design to determine the needs of the participant and help them develop skills in mindfulness meditation with tools for body, heart, mind, and community. Phillip will work with the participant to tailor a coaching plan to help them meet their goals for mindfulness practices including kindness, compassion, and forgiveness which can be applied to relationships, conflict, trauma, organizational wisdom, and societal change. Sessions take place at a local natural park. Cost is $60 per session
Feel free to bring a water bottle, a journal/notebook and pen, and shoes that are suitable for walking near the creek (as you will practice mindfulness near the water). 6 feet physical distancing will be in place due to COVID.
