Seeking a people-focused, enthusiastic, and client-facing professional to help maintain a warm and welcoming environment for both clients and clinicians in a thriving mental health group practice in Towson, MD. The ideal candidate is personable, empathetic, organized, and enjoys interacting with the public. The hire will serve in 3 primary roles:
Receptionist (answering and returning phone calls, emails, and online inquiries)
Intake coordinator (assign prospective clients to clinicians)
Office manager (maintain organized and well-stocked office; manage administrative tasks)
The hire will be responsible for providing heavy administrative support for practice leadership, light administrative support for clinicians and clients, and will manage office supply inventory. As intake coordinator, the hire will be the first point of contact for prospective clients and will help to match clinicians with clients as appropriate.
Additional Duties:
Greeting clients, checking them in, and helping them get comfortable upon arrival to the office
Coordinating with external team for insurance verification
Entering data/information into the online room scheduling system
Basic Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills and comfort with speaking to new people
Strong computer skills (able to navigate an electronic health records system; create monthly newsletter)
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong multi-tasking skills and being “quick on your feet”
Organizational skills - assembling packets, mailers, event preparation
Ability to function within a team setting and respond to daily tasks as delegated from upper management in a timely manner
Remain flexible with how processes are improved or implemented to ensure growth within the practice
Self-starter
Highly motivated
Understand the sensitive nature of working in a mental health services setting
Can work cross-functionally with clinicians, practice leaders, billing team, and clients
Work Environment:
Comfortable - The office is a home-like private practice setting
Lively - Regular foot traffic throughout the day from clients and clinicians
Social - The person in this role needs to be sociable and willing to talk to clinicians in between sessions
Dynamic - Various tasks throughout the week from practice leadership
Sensitive - Interacts with HIPAA protected information, understands that clients are often in emotional distress
Schedule:
Hours (time of day) are flexible
Ideally starting with 15 hours per week, with potential to increase 25-30 hours per week.
Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
Compensation and Benefits:
$18.00/hour
