A Licensed Profession Counselor, Elizabeth specializes in the
treatment of emotion dysregulation, anxiety, and trauma with a focus
on mindfulness, compassion, and skills training. She has her Masters
of Science in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland
and is a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist.
As a therapist, I am committed to helping my clients overcome
obstacles to becoming their full selves. I am motivated to uphold the dignity of each person and to encourage and equip them in their personal agency. I am experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. As a Dialectical Behavior Therapist, I specialize in helping people learn skills to improve emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal relationships, all in a framework of mindfulness. I have experience working with people with trauma, mood disorders, addiction, and borderline personality disorder.
